The memoir is now at the printer and will be available through your local bookstore, wherever you live. All you need to do is give them the title above, my name, and the printer and distributor, IngramSpark. They should be able to order you a copy after November 16, 2026 and quote you a price.
I described this memoir in some detail in my earlier post about a week ago, so I won’t bore you with more detail here, though I will include a few of the sixty-four photos in the book to spark your interest.

I married the second eldest in 1969, when she was much older than she was in this photo.

Queen Elizabeth II visited Norfolk Island in 1974, and I helped organise it.

I was a director of this airline and helped get it off the ground in the mid 1970s

Val, my wife, helped me build our house and garage in 1988.

This is me in a Tasmanian rainforest in 2020.

A very remote campsite at Wave Hill Station in the Northern Territory, Australia.
While the best way to order this memoir is from your local bookseller, you can contact me directly by email at growingold@live.com.au, and I can organise to send the book to you from here in Australia, although the cost will vary depending on where it is sent.
Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions or make comments through my email address above.
Remember, all this and much more is available at your local bookshop via IngramSpark, the printers and distributors of this book. Just mention the title and my name.
Thank you for showing interest.
Thank you. Warmest regards, Ed
