When Times Were Tough (Update)

A new historic adventure novel by Phil Page

This novel will be published on the 31st of August, 2023, so the time has nearly arrived. After spending well over 1,000 hours on the project so far, I am getting a little edgy, and to be quite honest, I have just about had enough of it.

I had a little difficulty with the electronic proofs; after the third time, all looked well. I am now awaiting the first printed proof, which I hope will be 100%, and it is all systems go.

If you have seen the book’s website, you will have seen how well the cover has come out. I hope potential readers will, at least this time, “judge the book by its cover”.

While most books have an official launch function, I have decided against it, and I will just do a few other things to promote the book. One does not have any idea of what the book industry is all about until you jump right into it. Never mind, it all comes under the term, “experience”.
